Flying FTR Pilot

Effective 22 October 2026

Privacy policy.

This policy covers Flying FTR Pilot for iOS, published under the Flying FTR Pilot name, and this support website. Contact: support@flyingftrpilot.com.

Information stored on your device

The app stores game progress, scores, preferences and any pilot profile you enter using local app storage. A profile may contain a nickname, age and optional sex selection. Your nickname is sent to the Pilot Radio service when you connect and can be visible to other players when you post. When you save the updated profile after its public-display notice, your age and selected sex are also sent to our Cloudflare-hosted service and shown beside your nickname in chat. Choosing “Prefer not to say” omits sex. Age and sex saved under the older local-only notice are not uploaded until you save the updated profile. We do not use these profile fields for Google ad targeting.

Advertising

The app integrates Google AdMob. New mixed-audience builds ask for an age setting before any advertising request. The advertising age answer is processed on-device; only an adult/restricted choice is saved for advertising, without sending the entered age to AdMob. Users under 18, users who skip the question and users with an unknown or invalid advertising age setting receive no ad requests. Only confirmed adults proceed to the applicable Google consent flow. The app requests general-audience, non-personalized ads for eligible adults. Depending on your installed build, it may display test ads or live advertising. We request non-personalized ads. Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing: Google’s SDK may process IP address (including approximate location derived from it), device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostics/performance data to deliver ads, prevent fraud and measure performance. This release does not request precise location or Apple’s tracking permission.

For Google’s practices, read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Processing and retention by Google are governed by its policies and applicable settings. We do not control Google’s retention periods.

Your choices

Where required, the app uses Google’s consent-management form before requesting live ads. You can refuse consent or manage the available options. Where applicable, the app menu includes “Ad privacy choices” to revisit those choices. “Age settings” lets you reset your advertising age choice; ads stop while you change it. The game remains available when advertising cannot be requested. Device privacy controls provide additional options.

Pilot Radio and online play

Connected features process a guest account identifier, session token, nickname, submitted messages and run information needed to verify runs, scores, milestones and message credits. Messages and shared runs are visible to players in the relevant room. Report and block actions are sent to the service for moderation. The service and hosting provider may process IP addresses and technical logs. If you choose to link an Apple account, an Apple identity token is sent to the service to verify the link. If you enable notifications, the app may send its push token, notification preference, device time zone and active/inactive presence to the service to deliver and manage notifications. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Do not post personal or sensitive information in public messages.

Sharing and purchases

When you choose to share a score, the app prepares an image and text for the iOS share sheet. You choose the recipient or service and confirm the sharing yourself. A temporary image may be stored in the app’s cache. Where message-credit purchases are available in your installed build, Apple handles payment. The app and service may process transaction information to verify purchases and update your credit balance. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Support and website visits

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and whatever information you include, uses it to handle your request, and retains it only as needed for support and recordkeeping. Website hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for service operation and security. This support site has no advertising or analytics scripts added by us.

Children and sensitive information

Please do not submit sensitive information in a nickname or support message. Parents or guardians can contact the developer about a child’s information. We will investigate reported unintended collection and handle deletion requests as applicable.

Retention, deletion and requests

Local game/profile data remains until cleared by the app, its storage or app removal; device backups are managed separately. Online account, message, run and moderation records are separate from local storage. Removing the app does not automatically delete records held by the service. Contact support about deletion of service-held data. You can ask about access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights by contacting the developer. We may need information sufficient to identify the request. Data processed independently by Google is subject to Google’s controls. Service providers may process information outside your country.

Changes

We will update this page when data practices change and revise the effective date. Material in-app changes may also be explained in the app.
